- The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the ACCESS (Advancing Chronic Care with Effective, Scalable Solutions) Model, aiming to empower Medicare beneficiaries and modernize the digital health ecosystem in the U.S. This model will support digital health solutions for chronic conditions like diabetes and depression through an outcomes-based payment approach. It will begin in July 2026, representing a significant shift towards value-based care. Read More
- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released its AI Strategy for the effective integration of this technology into public health, internal operations, and research. This strategy consists of five pillars which are governance, infrastructure for user needs, burden reduction, health research, and care delivery modernization. Read More
- The National Health Service (NHS) rolled out an AI tool in over 70 hospitals to help healthcare professionals spot deadly clots in minutes. This tool analyzes CT scans in real time and detects key features of a major stroke. It helps accelerate clinical decision-making and reduces transfer times to specialist stroke centers. Read More
- KLAS Research published the ‘Clinician Turnover 2025’ report that presents how electronic health record (EHR) experience impacts burnout. According to this report, clinicians feel inefficient and burned out due to poor EHR experience. Additionally, they start to make plans to leave their current organizations, reflecting the critical relation between EHR experience and healthcare professional turnover. Read More
- In South Korea, an amendment to the Medical Service Act institutionalizing telemedicine passed the National Assembly plenary session for the first time in 15 years. This law defines telemedicine as a supplement to in-person care and introduces strict measures on patient eligibility and prescribing to ensure safety and quality. Read More
