• The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) deployed its AI-powered system during the Hajj season to automatically verify medications carried by pilgrims. This system instantly detects narcotics and psychotropic substances and streamlines border inspections. Read More 

• The latest HSE Health App update, the official digital platform of Ireland’s public health service, brings new patient-centered features; through the application, users can now view their outpatient waiting lists and appointment information. Moreover, they can receive eligibility notifications and guidance for bowel and cervical screening. Read More 

• Nigeria’s National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) launched Med Safety App that allows for reporting substandard or falsified medical products and adverse drug reactions quickly. • The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) launched a new virtual course, titled "Youth-Centered Digital Health Interventions", to support the planning, development, and implementation of digital health solutions that better meet the needs of young people.
